"It was a mystery to me why they hadn't changed the look of that one particular McDonalds, why it had been allowed to hang in the eighties. Even the golden arches M leaned in a way that reminded one of Don Johnson." - Fouad Khan. |
"You. Are. An. American Bug… just like the rest of them, slave to your primal tendencies, dragging the whole of humanity down with you. You think there is hope for you, I thought there was hope for you, but there really isn't." - Ramna. |
I came to US in 2002 on a Fulbright scholarship to do a PhD in Environmental Engineering. During my research I uncovered scientific evidence that human beings were fast hurtling towards the end of their civilization on earth. A sexually naïve Muslim boy from Pakistan, I stumbled into an obscene relationship with a carnal adventurer, discovered the pleasures of "the game" and ended up playing with the taboos of love and the bodies and hearts of many, many women. |
I chased Hurricane Katrina and lived to tell the tale. Today, I might be the only one alive who knows what actually caused the Katrina disaster. This is the story of my American adventure. |
