Was Hurricane Katrina a Terrorist Attack?
Katrina Nights
Love in the Time of Flooding
by Fouad Khan
"… a dirty, dirty book. You
should be ashamed of yourself."
The author's mom.
"Some facts are so strange
they are only believable when
told through fiction."
A wise man.
"Sometimes I can't even tell if
you know the difference
between my vagina and my
asshole."-Katrina.
"…this enterprise is coming
down. And I'm not gonna be
one of those who saw the
approaching iceberg but were
too busy making out." -Ishmael.
"It was a mystery to me why they hadn't changed
the look of that one particular McDonalds, why it
had been allowed to hang in the eighties. Even the
golden arches M leaned in a way that reminded
one of Don Johnson." - Fouad Khan.
"You. Are. An. American Bug… just like the
rest of them, slave to your primal
tendencies, dragging the whole of
humanity down with you. You think there
is hope for you, I thought there was hope
for you, but there really isn't." - Ramna.
I came to US in 2002 on a Fulbright scholarship to
do a PhD in Environmental Engineering. During
my research I uncovered scientific evidence that
human beings were fast hurtling towards the end
of their civilization on earth.

A sexually naïve Muslim boy from Pakistan, I
stumbled into an obscene relationship with a
carnal adventurer, discovered the pleasures of
"the game" and ended up playing with the
taboos of love and the bodies and hearts of
many, many women.
I chased Hurricane Katrina and lived to tell the tale.

Today, I might be the only one alive who knows what
actually caused the Katrina disaster.

This is the story of my American adventure.
